The six Nepalese visitors, from the PSDR partner faculties of Education and Humanities & Social Science, were introduced to a range of PhD programmes and representatives from Danish PhD Schools.

The delegation met with a number of key resource persons, including Prof. Johnny Laursen, Head, Graduate School of Arts, Aarhus University; Prof. Lone Dirkinck-Holmfeld, Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Aalborg University; and Prof. Ulla Ambrosius Madsen from the Graduate School of Life Long Learning, Roskilde University.

Finishing the five-day tour in Denmark the Nepalese delegation gained inspiration to initiate a restructuring of TU’s PhD programme, including the establishment of PhD Schools at the two faculties.

The study tour was organized by the PSDR secretariat, Aarhus University.
