Launch: BSU Scholarship Programme

Universities Denmark and Danida are launching a new BSU Scholarship Programme. The pilot phase will offer a total of 30 scholarships for a two-years master degree at a Danish university.

The aim of the BSU Scholarship Programme is to provide talented students from Danida priority countries with the opportunity to obtain a master's degree from at Danish university, at an existing study programme offered in English. As a secondary aim of the Programme, is is the intention that the students will get knowledge  of Danish society, culture, values and establish personal relationships with Danish students.

The pilot phase covers two years (2013-2015) and will offer a total of 30 scholarships to students at the 11 BSU south partner universities in Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Nepal.

Universities Denmark is now launching the new BSU Scholarship Programme, and invites all interested students, partners and fellows to the Launch.

13:30: Arrival and refreshments
14:00: Welcome by Rector Jens Oddershede, spokesperson of Universities Denmark
14:10: Christian Friis Bach, Minister for Development Cooperation
14:20: Morten Østergaard, Minister for Science, Innovation and Higher Education
14:30: Questions and discussions
14:45: Coffee
15:30: End of session
